Using Keyboard Shortcuts in TeamSQL

There are numerous shortcuts that allow you to perform actions faster. Below is a list of shortcuts you can use in TeamSQL, as well as information on where you can use them.

General Keyboard Shortcuts

Open search box — search for any item

⌘ ⇧ F

Open search box — search for table names
⌘ ⇧ T

Open search box — search for functions and stored procedure
⌘ ⇧ P

Import SQL file
⌘ O

 

Shortcuts for Use in the Editor

Execute query
⌘ R

Save query
⌘ S

Open tab by index
⌘ [1–9] Example: ⌘ + 1 opens the first tab

Open a new tab using the current connection
⌘ N

Open a new tab after prompting the user to select a connection
⌘ ⇧ N

Close the active tab
⌘ W

Shift focus to the tab shown to the right of the active tab
Control + Tab

Shift focus to the tab shown to the left of the active tab
Control + Shift + Tab
